Instructions for the EpiPen

  • Remove the blue safety cap: pull it upwards with your second hand.
  • Hold the EpiPen® approx. 10cm away from the outside of your thigh, with the orange end towards the thigh.
  • Firmly push the EpiPen® into the outside of your thigh at a right angle! A click can be heard!
  • Hold the EpiPen® firmly in your leg for 3 seconds. The injection is now finished and the viewing window appears dark.
  • Remove the EpiPen® (the orange end covers the needle again).
