EpiPens for emergencies are located here:
- 2 pieces of EpiPens® in Production in the first aid corner (near the stamp terminal)
- 2 pieces of EpiPens® at the Reception in office building I
Instructions for the EpiPen
- Take the EpiPen® in your hand, put your thumb on the blue cap and make a fist around the EpiPen®. Orange end down!
- Remove the blue safety cap: pull it upwards with your second hand.
- Hold the EpiPen® approx. 10cm away from the outside of your thigh, with the orange end towards the thigh.
- Firmly push the EpiPen® into the outside of your thigh at a right angle! A click can be heard!
- Hold the EpiPen® firmly in your leg for 3 seconds. The injection is now finished and the viewing window appears dark.
- Remove the EpiPen® (the orange end covers the needle again).
- Gently massage the injection site for 10 seconds. Call emergency services (Euro emergency number 112) and inform about the allergic reaction and administration of EpiPen®.
