Data protection declaration of hollu Systemhygiene (Switzerland) AG
The responsible handling of personal data is a central concern for hollu. In this data protection declaration we describe how and why we process personal data.
Below, under “Editing” (which also includes the term “processing”), personal data is discussed, for example: B. the acquisition, storage, retention, use, modification, disclosure, archiving, deletion or destruction of personal data.
“Personal data” (which also includes the term “personal data”) is understood below to mean all information that relates to a specific or identifiable person (e.g. name, date of birth, address, email address).
If you disclose personal data of other people (e.g. data of employees) to hollu, please point these people to this “data protection declaration” or give it to them. Only share personal data with third parties if you are allowed to do so and the information is correct.

1. Scope of this data protection declaration
This data protection declaration applies to all processing of personal data in connection with the processing of joint business activities.

You have the right to contact anyone responsible at hollu. However, you will make it easier for us to process your concerns efficiently if you use the contact address provided.
3. Data provision
The provision of certain personal data is sometimes indispensable for the fulfillment of delivery obligations or contractual services. If you do not want to provide us with personal data, we may not be able to provide our services. Please also note your rights under Section 13.
4. Categories of Personal Data
In particular, the following categories of personal data that have been disclosed by you or third parties, which we obtain from public sources or which arise from the execution of the contract, can be processed by hollu:
• Information about the contact person and/or the contractual partner or employees of contractual partners, companies and authorities, e.g. B. Name, gender, nationality, language region, role in the company;
• Data from contracts, especially regarding contact persons.
5. Processing Purposes
5.1 Overview
hollu processes your personal data if it is necessary to fulfill the specific order or contract and to provide possible additional services. Your personal data will only be processed in compliance with the applicable legal requirements for the purposes that were stated to you (e.g. when concluding the contract) or that are apparent from the circumstances. Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes in particular:
• Advice and support activities, general communication with responsible persons and third parties
• Preparation of offers or orders
• Customer care
• Answering inquiries and requests as well as their evaluation
• Conducting customer surveys and evaluating them
• Invoicing and processing
• Managing existing contracts
5.2 Marketing
“Marketing” refers to all of hollu’s activities that are intended to attract potential customers or expand existing customer relationships by analyzing their needs and behavior and offering existing products or developing new hollu products and services. This also includes measures to maintain customer relationships with existing customers. This includes analyzing your data. You can object to this data processing at any time.
5.3 Newsletter and email marketing
hollu uses the communication channel email/newsletter to send offers or relevant information that are individually tailored to you. We also use email notifications for order and shipping confirmations, some of which are sent to the recipient automatically. For all types of newsletters/emails, the personal data you provide (e.g. last name, first name, email address) is collected for a personalized approach.
6. Electronic communications
When communicating electronically (e.g. via email, SMS, messenger, social media), please note that this is generally not encrypted. Data can be intercepted and manipulated by third parties or lost. hollu takes appropriate technical and organizational security measures to prevent this within its own systems. However, your end device (computer, smartphone, etc.) and the service you use are outside the security area that can be controlled by hollu. As a user of the Internet, it is your responsibility to find out about the necessary security precautions and to take appropriate measures (e.g. up-to-date virus protection, etc.). If you do not communicate with hollu via secure means of communication, you are aware that you bear the risks associated with this means of communication. Hollu’s liability is excluded in this context to the extent permitted by law.
7. Third Party Information
The personal data processed by hollu primarily comes from you personally (e.g. when concluding a contract or ordering a service). However, personal data may be supplemented or coordinated with personal and non-personal information from publicly available sources (e.g. the Internet), from government offices, or from business and credit reference agencies.
The purpose of this is to check existing data for accuracy in order to ensure optimal data quality and to generally optimize processes.
8. Recipients of Data
A recipient of data is anyone to whom personal data is transmitted or made accessible. This can

8.1 Service providers
Service providers (e.g. for IT solutions or for logistics services) can, under certain circumstances, process personal data on behalf of hollu. You are contractually obliged to comply with the currently applicable data protection legislation as well as to maintain secrecy and confidentiality. You may only edit the data for predetermined purposes, i.e. not for your own purposes.
Personal data will only be passed on to recipients abroad if they are subject to appropriate data protection laws. If data is transferred to a service provider in a country without adequate data protection, adequate data protection will be ensured through contractual guarantees or, in exceptional cases, based on your consent. For this purpose, we generally use the standard contractual clauses issued or recognized by the European Commission and the Swiss Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), unless the recipient is already subject to a legally recognized set of rules to ensure data protection and

8.2 Sharing of information for marketing purposes
Customer data is generally not passed on for marketing purposes, but is processed by hollu itself for its own marketing purposes. You can of course object to this at this time.
9. Storage Period
hollu processes your personal data as long as this is necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned above.
Your personal data will then generally be deleted or anonymized. However, your personal data may be further processed, for example due to legal retention requirements. The storage period depends largely on the statutory limitation periods.
10. Data Security
hollu takes appropriate technical and organizational security precautions to protect your personal data against manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. These measures are based on international standards and are regularly reviewed and adjusted if necessary.
11. Rights of Data Subjects
If your personal data is processed by hollu, you can exercise the following rights at any time and in principle free of charge within the framework of applicable data protection law.
11.1 Right to information
You have the right to receive information about your personal data processed by hollu. You can submit your request for information in writing, enclosing a copy of your identity card or passport, to the address listed under “Contact” (Section 2).
11.2 Right to rectification
hollu strives to keep your data as up-to-date and correct as possible. If we have stored incorrect personal data about you, we will be happy to correct it upon your request.
11.3 Right to object
You have the right to object to processing of your personal data that is not absolutely necessary for the performance of the service, does not have to be carried out on a legal basis or is carried out without an overriding or legitimate interest of hollu, with immediate effect for the future.
11.4 Right to deletion and restriction
You have the right to delete your personal data or restrict its processing, which is not absolutely necessary for the execution of the contract, is not processed on a legal basis (e.g. retention obligations) or without hollu having a legitimate interest.
11.5 Right to data portability
You may have the right to request your personal data in a common electronic format or to have it transferred and/or released to another controller.
11.6 Additional Rights

If we inform you of an automated decision (section 5.4), you have the right to express your point of view and request that the decision be reviewed by a natural person. You also have the right to revoke your consent if our processing is based on your consent. A revocation of consent only applies to further processing and only if we cannot rely on any other legal basis for further processing of the data concerned.
